My name is Simon Hale Anderson and I am a passionate writer, director and editor with a particular love for horror films. Ever since I saw the film, Jaws, at a young age, I have been fascinated with the power of cinema to transport audiences to different worlds, and I knew I wanted to be apart of that magic. Over the years, I have honed my skills in writing, directing and editing, and I have created several short films that explore the darker aspects of the human psyche.
My films have been selected into several short film festivals, and my most recent, There's Something in the Woods, has surpassed forty-thousand views on YouTube. I continue to develop my craft, and push the boundaries of what is possible in the horror genre, always striving to create something that is fresh and new.
